Out of cash, out of luck, out on the fringe. Juno Markev has a killer to tail, a debt to pay, and more trouble headed her way. Rebel Galaxy Outlaw takes place in a greasy, blue-collar world of outlaws, truckers, cops and thieves.

Microsoft dropped a pretty penny to acquire Zenimax Media and its various subsidiary studios, including Bethesda, the developer and publisher behind industry-defining franchises like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. There are plenty of questions circulating about this massive business move, but it’s safe to speculate that the next generation of...
Few games truly take player choice to heart and implement it in meaningful ways. With its multitude of branching paths, loyalty missions, and an ending that lived and died on the choices you made before, 2010’s Mass Effect 2 set the gold standard for allowing players to create their own story...
Sure, you could play an actual Batman game but wouldn’t you rather see a Batman who could join the Brotherhood instead? Batman Day has arrived and instead of the usual “here are the Batman games you should scope out” piece, we decided to dive back into the world of mods...
With the rampant rumors and leaks pointing to a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster, longtime fans could finally have their chance to play a more optimized Mass Effect experience on modern consoles. Being a massive Mass Effect fan myself, I’ve had more than a few people reach out wondering if the...
If you’re like me, the wait for Dragon Age 4 is pretty unbearable. We have justice that needs to be seen with a certain egg and taking on Tevinter is mighty enticing. While we still have a nice little wait time before we get a DA4 launch date, we figured...
Sony confirmed the price of both the standard and all-digital versions of the PlayStation 5 and now we know exactly how much the DualSense will retail for as well. This is a good week to catch up on your backlog of games. No title truly has a spotlight on it, but we have had a blast playing Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, and we can’t wait to see how the Vin Diesel-led Fast & Furious Crossroads turns out.
Let us know what you plan on playing this week in the comments section below. Here’s the full release list:

Previous Week: July 26-August 1
Electronic Arts’ recent Skate announcement and Activision’s forthcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remaster have people hungry for halfpipes again. You don’t have to wait for either of those games to release to get your fix. Easy Day Studios’ Skater XL hits this Tuesday. Game Informer won’t have a review ready, but we will bring you early impressions to let you know if it’s worth your time.
The week ahead also sees the releases of Destroy All Humans, Grounded, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and Hellpoint. Destroy All Humans is the classic revival of a PlayStation 2 game that lets you terrorize humanity as a space-faring alien. Grounded is the next game from Obsidian Entertainment that sees you exploring a backyard as a microscopic human. Yakuza needs no real introduction. Hellpoint is a promising souls-like adventure with a science-fiction flavor.

Many of you are likely playing Ghost of Tsushima right now and don’t want to think about adding another game to your queue, but there are a number of intriguing titles hitting this week. The one that catches my eye the most is Carrion, a side-scrolling adventure that puts you in control of an amorphous blob that is trying to escape a human-run facility.
Another title that stands out is Crysis Remastered on Switch. This is a game that once required a high-end PC to play, and now we will be able to experience it on a handheld. Rock of Ages III: Make & Break is also on the way this week, as is Dying Light: Hellraid, yet another expansion to the first-person zombie game that launched in 2015.
