The accident on NH-27 near Gogunda Pindwara took the lives of four women and eight people who succumbed to injuries were taken to a hospital in Udaipur.
Rajasthan: DSP Charul Gupta said four people were referred to Jaipur and some injured left for Noida and Delhi for treatment. The accident took place near Lahdi Ka Bas on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Dausa district.
On December 23, the 3-year-old girl fell in a borewell at her father's farm field while playing. Soon after the incident was reported, a rescue mission was started, and the NDRF was roped in for the operation, which the District Collector termed the toughest in the state.
A thick layer of gas engulfed the entire area near the plant where the gas leakage took place. However, no damage to life or properties was reported.
